1. Acceptance

By downloading or using Somatic ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms are an agreement between you and Ruckus Labs, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") and are governed by the laws of the United States.

2. License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or sublicense any part of the App.

3. Health and fitness disclaimer

Somatic is a workout tracking tool and is not a medical device. Nothing in the App constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Heart rate readings, calorie and pace estimates, heart-rate zones, training-load displays, recovery context, and Soma suggestions are for general fitness information only. They may be incomplete or inaccurate and do not establish medical fitness, physiological recovery, or injury risk. Meditation and breathing practices are general wellness features, not treatment.

Consult a qualified healthcare professional before beginning any new exercise program, especially if you have any medical conditions, injuries, or health concerns. You assume all risk associated with your physical activity. Ruckus Labs, LLC is not responsible for any injury, illness, or adverse outcome resulting from use of the App or reliance on information it provides.

Soma combines local planning rules with supported on-device Apple Intelligence features. Suggestions depend on the information available and your selections. Review the Movements, equipment, loads, durations, and intensity before starting, and adjust them to your circumstances. You remain responsible for deciding whether to follow a suggestion.

4. Purchase and refunds

Somatic is free to download and offers a 14-day full-app trial, activated by confirming a free trial purchase with Apple. After the trial, a $14.99 USD one-time in-app purchase unlocks new Sessions; local prices are shown by the App Store. There is no subscription, automatic renewal, or automatic charge at the end of the trial. Browsing, history, and data export remain available without an unlock, and Sessions already in progress can be finished. Users who purchased Somatic as a paid app before this change retain full access. Purchases and the original trial period can be restored with the Apple Account used to obtain them. All purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's purchase terms and refund policies. We do not process payments or issue refunds directly. 6. Intellectual property

The App — including its design, code, graphics, and content — is owned by Ruckus Labs, LLC and protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except for the limited license described in Section 2.

7. Third-party services

The App integrates with Apple Health, Apple Maps, notifications, Live Activities, and supported on-device Apple Intelligence features. Availability depends on your hardware, permissions, system settings, and connected sensors. Your use of Apple and other external services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of Apple or any other third party.

You control optional sharing and exports. Shared Session and section links contain reusable workout prescriptions; anyone with a link may access its contents. Backups can include sensitive profile and training records. You are responsible for the content you share, permission to share it, and the recipients and storage services you choose. Sharing a link or backup does not make it a verified or professionally reviewed training plan.

Somatic stores app data locally and does not provide a cloud recovery account. Keep a backup if you need one. Start Fresh and local deletion do not remove Apple Health records or copies of files and links already shared. 8. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ruckus Labs, LLC and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including any loss of data or personal injury — arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in a court of competent jurisdiction in the United States, at our election.

11. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted at this URL with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
